Polite people. Yes, a week is just a short stay, but it was very pleasant that people said “sorry” if they were standing in my way, bumping into me. They say “Please” and “Thank you” to strangers in the street and I just like it.
Parks. They seemed to be more part of everyday life of people to me. I can’t imagine I would just go to a park during the lunch break, after work. But it looked so relaxing!
So many runners! I saw people running everywhere, so natural. Here in Prague, I still feel more like UFO.
Google Office. No comment:o)
More ethnic food. They say traditional British cuisine is disgusting but I don’t care! They had so many Indian, Chinese, Japanese and more ethnic places to eat, that I really don’t need more. I tried one Chinese fast food, one ordinary Indian restaurant. Both were great. And saw much more I could not go to.
Cool urban places like Millenium Bridge or Canary Wharf, new fancy embankment apartments… I love big cities, the bigger the better!
Cider:o) Yes, I am from beer nation, but… I like cider more, sory!
